In the coming weeks, teenage Cindy Williams pushes her family away and puts herself in danger…

As she gets ready for the prom with help from Carol, an upset and concerned Bobby invites Cindy over to the Beale’s for dinner, and she decides to attend. Whilst there, the pleasant atmosphere soon changes when Ian tells the teen that Jane has been paying Carol to look after her.

After furiously confronting both Carol and Liam, a vulnerable Cindy goes to The Albert, where she catches the eyes of two men. As she flirts with them both, the men offer to buy her drinks…

Later on, just as Cindy is about to leave with the men, Liam turns up and begs her not to get in to the car. As Liam rushes off to tell Jane and Ian, it appears that Cindy has changed her mind – but is it too late?

Cindy remains missing for a few weeks after leaving with the two men and the family are sick with worry. Ian finds it particularly tough as he feels he has lost another daughter. Just as he heads out to go and see the police, Cindy turns up on the doorstep…
